Welcome to our Web Site!
Since 1949, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Santa Rosa has proivided quality programs for Santa Rosa youth. In that time, more than 50,000 children and teens have had the opportunity to participate in our after-school programs, regardless of financial circumstances. Today, more than 1,500 community youth ages 6 to 18 are served through the organization's five branches and outreach sites. These life-saving programs are in the Roseland area at Timothy Commons Club & Jay's Place Club, South Santa Rosa at Gray's Meadow Club, Northwest Santa Rosa at West Oaks Club, and Northeast at the Central Club.

The Clubs offer more than 50 quality after-school and summer programs in a positive, safe, supervised environment. Programs offered at the Club are built around five core areas: educationtion and career development; character and leadership development; health andlife skills; the arts; and sports, fitness and creation.

We are proud that our after-school activities are making a huge difference in the lives of children. I invite you to help us serve even more kids in the future by investing in our youthy. Your support will make a difference--one child at a time.

Thank you again,

Dr. Mary Bates, Chief Executive Officer

Our Mission
The Boys & Girls Club is more than a place, it is a "movement" to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

By reaching children at an early age and providing positive activities and encouragement, our Club provides a compelling alternative to youth crime, gang membership, drugs, and other negative influences that effect our youth today.

Our programs in both our Central Club and our Club in South Santa Rosa promote the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, influence and belonging. When this strategy is fully implemented, self-esteem is enhanced and an environment is created, which helps our members achieve their full potential. Additionally, our members learn to:

· Enjoy their interests
· Nurture their talents
· Dissolve their prejudices
· Express their personality
· Develop friendships
· Build self esteem
· Contribute to society
· Achieve personal success
